Hi. I'm Goen.

First of all, welcome to my very first website that I made for myself! I am currently a student learning software and web development at Camosun College located on the beautiful Vancouver Island of BC, Canada.

I have another educational background in radiation therapy and I have worked as a radiation therapist at BC Cancer Victoria for 3 years. Although radiation therapist was an amazing career, I realized I wanted more creativity and problem-solving in my career, so that when my curiosity for programming stated! I enjoy breaking down problems and creating solutions through programming.

Currently, I have acquired skills of writing object-oriented programming (OOP) in Java. Through OOP, I am able to write organized and readable code. As you have seen through this webpage, creating interactive & responsive websites with HTML and CSS is another skill I have gained. I had a lot of fun making this web-page! Expanding my knowledge in a entirely different field has been a lot of fun and I cannot wait where this journey takes me to!

Aside from computers, I love to be outdoors hiking, running, camping, or just lying in the sun. I am a garlic parent! I started growing garlics last year, and it's been so much fun. Baking and cooking vegetarian food is another passion of mine. If you want some recipes I love, send me a message!
